Edylyn Lagapa

Edylyn Lagapa’s journey into philanthropy began in 2007 on the streets of San Francisco, where she volunteered at Toy Drives for the Salvation Army on 6th Street. These early efforts fueled a passion for supporting meaningful causes, leading her to participate in AIDS Walks and Breast Cancer Walks over the years. Her commitment deepened in 2018 when she started volunteering with The City Eats, an organization dedicated to feeding the unhoused. She quickly became involved by hosting her own toy drives to benefit the children served by Project PEARLS, a nonprofit that uplifts the most impoverished communities in the Philippines.

Her dedication and impact have only grown: she became a formal member of The City Eats in 2022 and was appointed to the board in 2024. As a board member of Project PEARLS, Edylyn has tirelessly raised funds for both The City Eats and Project PEARLS, extending her reach and commitment across both local and international communities.

In addition to her philanthropy, Edylyn is the proud owner of GLW Essentials, where she combines her passion for skincare with a mission to enhance clients' confidence. As a Licensed Esthetician, she provides custom facials that address sensitive skin, eczema, anti-aging, and acne. Beyond her skincare expertise, Edylyn’s talents as a Social Media Manager enable her to create captivating content that builds brand awareness and drives engagement.

Edylyn Lagapa is a powerhouse of compassion, creativity, and commitment, striving every day to make a positive difference in the lives of the communities she serves.
